I don't receive it (don't have cable tv) but I do use the website often. I find it a very good & balanced news service, which as a white Englishman living in Australia it has been sometimes difficult to do. The media in both the UK & Australia tends to be biased against any middle eastern nation when it comes to matters of conflict (even if it's just a conflicting interest) with a western nation, especially the USA/UK or with Israel (not a western nation but you know what I mean). For those of us who have enough brain cells to know when we're being bullshitted, accurate & unbiased media sources are a Godsend.

Al Jazeera is one of the best and most balanced channels currently available. They take a diffirrent angle on the news. They are also not so USA and Europe centric. They have fewer advertising and their weekly programs like The Listening Post are most informative.

I don't care what news channel you watch they all are bias at some point and most journalist have their own agenda to push one way or the other.  The best bet is to read them all and then try and pick out the bull s*** from the truth.

well I'm not news watcher but i think  the us news chanel  show the peopol what they want to see i mean the news chanell and they dont allways show what realy hapend.

Al Jazeera is very balanced in my opinion. I watch the English version and its pretty good with no agenda behind any reporting and they cover topics others don't. There are views i disagree with them and agree on.

They are much more reliable than U.S news channels by far

I watch it from time to time - I am not a great TV watcher and VERY cynical about the objectivity of ANY news station.

I do not watch enough to really speak with any authority on reliability, but I find it has a nice laid back approach and certainly more pleasurable to watch than some other chanels.

Yes, and it is pretty balanced compared to the somewhat self-centred American media!
