Of course I watch it!, I am Eastenders, cant you see that? I hope you get positive replies seeing as we are the best soap on TV, have you seen my Grant lately?, little sod has gone awol again, Just cant keep track of him and my Sam.

Yes i do, its ok but i think all the soaps are running on dried up story lines at the moment.

I used to watch it all the time. Now I only watch it about once a week. They need new characters, It's gone right down hill

poofy gangster! this one looks like he can find his way home after coming out the "white swan" on commercial road E14.Eastenders is a bit silly,one episode equals a decade or two in the average Eastenders life! But,the story-lines are not too far fetched & living on the edge of the east-end ie hackney/islington i can say with all honesty that the characters portrayed are pretty authentic! Honest guv.

I watch episodes here and there but not a soap fan.

I like Dawn and the new Indian one is hot!! But when you've resorted to finding girls hot and the storyline rubbish they need to spruce it up.

I did up till a couple of weeks ago. I missed one or two because I was at work and I found I couldn't be bothered to watch it when it was on later the same evening. I haven't seen it since and I think it's because the stories have got too familiar. It's the same old same old. It's also very depressing now.

I do and i love it i don't get to see every episode coz sometimes I'm busy but i think it's ausome and they chose the right people to play the characters.

Why is this soap opera so popular?...for me it depicts all that is bad our society and when I first watched eastenders(in the mid eighties)I thought the same! .Perhaps it brings comfort to all those viewers who live in "leafy suburbia" that they don't have to live in such a bad situation?PS: I live in france (but originally from brighton),and this is why I emigrated 20 years ago to a country  whose population would rather be sitting round a table with a bottle of wine discussing the real world?...instead of being couch potatoes in front of the telly ,when we haven't even finished our aperitifs!
