Do you wear makeup, fix your hair for you husband around the house? Why or why not?

I am a housewife, used to dress sloppy when we first got married b/c I felt like I didn't need to get dressed up but he told me after a few months that he wants me to and now I realize that women should look good for there husbands even when they are just lounging around, especially housewives b/c that it all housewives do sometimes and it can be easy to let yourself go. I was just curious if anyone else can relate.

i think its important to look good for your husband too!! i mean you probably put on makeup and what not when you go to work or go out for dinner etc... why would you care about impressing strangers and not your own husband?? granted mine says he loves how i look without it and doesnt care if i wear it, but when i do he always tells me how hot i look lol. sometimes i get lazy and dont mess with it, but the majority of the time i do try to look the best i can for him. i mean, i love him, and i want to take care of myself for him!!! and he loves the fact his friends get jealous too lol so thats a plus!

Yes, I make an effort to look good too.  I wear nice, coordinated "lounging" outfits when I'm at home or nice pajamas, and I keep my hair and makeup neat.  I have my moments where I look pretty bad, but for the most part I look good enough to go out.  I make my husband take care of himself too.  No droopy underwear, no ratty t-shirts, and hair and face clean and teeth brushed.

Girl please you're acting like you're a slave to him! You're not! Your husband has to love you the way you are! The only thing that you're guilty of is trying to be what he wants you to be! That's WRONG! You act the way you want to act he's not your master the women controls the house!

Don't be intimidated by him! He is just a man and we are women last time I checked women are the people who run the house.All you need to do it just dress casually jeans and a shirt maybe eye liner and mascara but nothing else. He has to learn that

I can relate, I'm a army wife. I try my hardest to always look good. Your home all day he's at work there's plenty of hot women out there. Then when he comes home he sees a slob!!! NO WAY!! I wouldn't want him to let his self go. Its kinda sweet because your letting him know that your still trying and caring. I change up my hair, styles of clothing, the food I cook etc. I try to keep things spicy never boring.

I totally relate to this.  When my boyfriend and I first met I always made sure I at least had mascara on and my hair decently done before I came out of taking a shower.  Now we've been together for days and I try to always wear cute shorts or sweatpants with a tank for him.  If I want to be comfy then I need to make an effort to look cute you know?  I don't I just feel like making sure he is attracted to me and looking nice is important. I know he loves me without makeup too but I feel so much more confident done up a little bit even around the house so that shows for sure...
