Do you wear mascara?

Question

If yes, please help me with these:::

(you don't have to answer everything, answer what you can)

1) I got new volume mascara but its giving me no volume, and it's clumpy and wet. Will it get better with use, my friend said so but idk?

2) I can't wear waterproof mascara, how do I deal with washable mascara? I'm always afraid it'll run when I cry, or that it'd smear... Please give tips

3)With the rubbery plastic bristles (like the ones in lash exact and define a lash), whats the best way to apply mascara? Zig zag, quickly, slowly etc?

4) Should I apply mascara to both sides (top and bottom)of my upper lashes?

Yes, I do.

1. Probably not. The product is how it is, and it reacts differently to different people.

2. When you cry wipe your eyes constantly and lift up, not down. Also don't rub your eyes when you cry if you do pack mascara on then go for less.

3. Go straight up then clean off the brush with water and dry it then go zig-zag to separate your lashes without packing on more mascara.

4. Only the upper. If you do it to the bottom it could look like there's a many-legged spider trying to crawl out of your eyes (sorry for the image, it creeped me out, too, because my bobby pin fell out of my hair onto my neck while I was visualizing it :))

Use unstoppable mascara by maybelline; still the most cost effective and this stuff stays put, but can be washed off with soap and water or makeup remover.  Great stuff, easy to put on and they have the old familiar wand that's easy to handle.

Also, put it on both top and bottom.  Curl your top well as it will relax alittle before you put mascara on.

Then use the tip and go along the lash line (after you put on eye liner - which I use eyeshadow and a slim brush to shadow the around the eye) and then use the brush to draw it out from the roots.  Natural and clean look.

1)most mascaras get better with a little use but honestly if its clumpy and wet its probably no good

2)idk about this one, I don't like waterproof mascara so I stick with the regular kind and as long as you don't cry you'll be fine

3)the rubber bristles are my favorite, applying them slowly while spinning them outwards is what I usually do and it works perfectly

4)I only apply to the under side of my lashes, it gives it more volume and doesn't weight it down

I don't really wear mascara so I'll try my best to help.

1. I think if you learn how to apply mascara properly it won't be as clumpy and it normally dries after you wear it for a couple of minutes.

2. Washable mascara won't smear really bad if you leave if alone and don't touch your eyelashes or wash your face, but it will probably smear if you cry, a lot of the times even with waterproof.

3. I think the best way to apply mascara is quickly but carefully. So it won't clump. It takes practice.

4. I think you should pick one, which ever you prefer cause you don't wanna wear too much. I normally apply from the bottom, cause I think (not sure) that helps keep them curled.

Yes i do. mine was like that to but after uses it starts showing its volume and isnt so clumpy. and how u deal with washable mascara, refrain from rubbimg ur eyes. and i dont like mascara on my bottom lashes.but some people can pull off that look.and watever hand and wut way u use mascara is the same way u should put it on the other eye (speed doesnt matter)

ok here is the best answer:  The pink and green maybeline.  Most all professional makeup artists use this. You should zig zag the bottom lashes and just stroke the top ones.   Go to sephora and get an eyelash seperator.  that is a tool that is used when your lashes get too clumpy.  good luck.

do not wear mascara you only have so many eyelashes every time you wash out your mascara 1 or 2 lashes come out that equals to alot. i wear a very thin eyeliner on top and it looks like im wearing mascara or a dark shadow will work, i hope this helps

1. If your mascara is wet and clumpy then throw it away. I suggest you use Maybelline Volume Exact, no clumps and awesome!

2. Really Waterproof mascara stinks. Besides when you try to wash it out IT BURNS YOUR EYE LIKE CRAZY. If you cry then still just go to a bathroom and wash under your eyes from where you cried and put a new coat of mascara.

3. Slowy is good for me, but start like in the middle of the eyelashes  like brush up. Also when brushing up try to move it left to right a little bit.

4. Top is usually enough. I tried once to do both...wasn't that pretty.
