He did, but it had to wait for this morning's paper. Funny look at the convention acceptance speech by columnist David Brooks linked below

  1. I don't think that is clearheaded but it is funny. Thank you for posting it. All of the politicians do this and it's nothing new furthermore. I cringe and kind of can't wait to hear McCain's speech though I best get something in case I get sick. Both parties have been working against the American people and small businesses. But it's our fault for letting it get so out of control. It's been little by little. It's easier that way and why we must stay vigilant and ready to respond quickly with confidence that we are right and they are wrong.

  2. This is your idea of a clear headed social commentator?  Sounds like a cynical individual with no hope.

"We meet today to pass the torch to a new generation of Americans, a generation that came of age amidst iced chais and mocha strawberry Frappuccinos®, a generation with a historical memory that doesn’t extend back past Coke Zero." - Hey....I'm no fan of this generation either, but I'm sure my parents were as scared as HE!! to be passing on the torch to the likes of me!

I'm neither dem nor repub - but I listened last night with an open mind - and was inspired and impressed.  Alot more so that I thought I would be.
