Do you wish you could wake up with half as much energy as your dog/s have?

One quick stretch and JJ is full of bounce and ready to go, while I am trailing behind still wistfully thinking about my duvet.....

Takes me a while to wake up and at least one cup of coffee!

(JJ "shocked" that I cannot keep up with him)

  1. My two are always impatient to go, and l'm still trying to get my eyes to open, but once l'm out in the fresh air, and rain!!!, l wake up.

Then when we get back it's time for me to work, and they get to go back to bed and have another nap, very unfair!!!

  2. Oh Lordy, yes!!  LOL

  3. I think I might go crazy if I had even half as much energy as Eli has. It would be nice to have a portion of it. I'm no good until 10-11 in the morning (which is bad considering I get to work at 8).

  4. No, I wish they did! LOL

  5. JJ is gorgeous!

Well , yeah, I wish I was that wide awake first thing, without my IV drip of coffee.  But if I had as many hour-long siestas during the day as my dog has, I might have more energy.   :)

  6. your dog is cute!

  7. ha ha hes nice., what breed? my lhasa apso is always really sleepy when i get her up in the morning. she wont move in fact hence whey i dont walk her in the morning. i let her out back and she sits there with a dazed look on her face

  8. Yes I agree. The only thing is at least your dog is keeping you active. That must be good.

Just looked at your picture. He is gorgeous. My Shih Tzu now nine months old runs fast around the fields. I think she has a thousand hidden legs.

  9. Yes and no.  Once he's awake, he's very energetic, but I think I've rubbed off on him, because during the work week, I get up and get ready to leave, and he's still yawning on the couch like "5 more minutes please."

  10. My dog hates the mornings...I have to drag her out of bed to go for the first walk!! She even hears her food being put out and doesnt come a running...Lazy lump she is!!!

  11. Its a good thought but then they can lie and sleep all day if they want.

  12. I wish my dog would wake up with that much energy.  I drag her *** out of bed at 6am most mornings (except on the weekends) and she's so groggy she ends up dragging behind me on walks.

How on EARTH can a dog who's a border collie/lab mix be so lazy???

  13. no else i would be jumping of the walls.lol
