Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.

They wont necessarily see you naked and people feel more embarrassed when getting changed than having to show 'themselves' to the doctor

  18. Kermit said that assasination is a premeditated murder but murder is a premeditated and unlawful killing....so assasination is a premeditated, premeditated unlawful killing?

  19. Why does a round pizza come in a square box?

Well this one is easy. When it comes to manufacture, anything that is wasted, is money gone down the drain. By making square boxes, they can fit more into a smaller area and also won't waste any card. Some also mentioned that it would be harder to get out of the box, which is also a very good answer.

What is the speed of darkness?

Darkness does not move, nor can it possess energy therefore it cannot have, by mere definition, a speed.

Why is it that people say they 'slept like a baby' when babies wake up every two hours?

You say babies wake up every 2 hours, well actually most people wake up more times than that anyway. After the REM stage of sleep, we wake up for a few seconds. A whole length of sleep lasts around 1 and a half hours, before we wake up. So in conclusion, to sleep like a baby (assuming a baby wakes up every 2 hours) does actually mean that you are a deeper sleeper than the average person, who wakes up about every 1 and a half hours.

Why are you IN a movie, but you're ON TV?

Because the two are very different. You are ON T.V. but are still featured in a programme. And you can be IN a movie but still be ON the big screen. To be on something describes the unit you are watching something on and to be in something describes what you are watching, e.g. a movie or a programme.

Why did you just try singing the two songs above?

Because that was the above question and my brain was still processing the information.

If a deaf person has to go to court, is it still called a hearing?

    Yes

What disease did cured ham actually have?

You don't always have to be cured of a disease. In food preparation, curing refers to various preservation and flavoring processes

Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

So they could survive the journey to their destination.

Do married people live longer than single ones or does it only seem longer?

Research has shown that people who are married, or have social company do live longer than single people.

Does pushing the elevator button more than once make it arrive faster?

Very rarely but on some elevators, if you push a button enough, it will overide all other stops and come to your floor first. This was first incorperated to act as an emergency system only, severe punishments are given to those who abuse it.

Why do toasters always have a setting so high that could burn the toast to a horrible crisp, which no decent human being would eat?

    That is the defrost setting.

Why do doctors leave the room while you change? They're going to see you naked anyway.

    Do they leave the room?

Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

Because they dont know their physics... there are infact many many more than 4 billion stars.

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

    No

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Because they are seeing things far away. And you cannot see them from the ground, without getting closer to them. By weighing up the prices, to go up the building is generally cheaper and quicker and more time consuming.

Once you're in heaven, do you get stuck wearing the clothes you were buried in for eternity?

No, because being in heaven is determined on how good you have been. It would be unfair on those would had been cremeted to have to go to h**l, just because they have nothing to wear. Chances are everyone will be naked, since we wear clothes out of shame (ever read genesis) and shame is a sin. There is no sin in heaven.

Why do they call it an asteroid when it's outside the hemisphere, but call it a haemorrhoid when it's down below where the sun don't shine?

To avoid confusion in the scientific community.

Why is 'bra' singular and 'panties' plural?

Why wouldn't they be? Pants in the singular of panties.

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

There is no clear definition that differentiates a test and a quiz. There a test is also quizzical.

Why do the Alphabet song and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?

Because, without the words they are the same.

How important does a person have to be before they are considered assassinated instead of just murdered?

It doesn't matter, it depends on whether the murderer is classified as a hired assassin by the police, and was paid to do the murder.

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from?

Mineral Oil, Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin E, Acetate, Fragrance.

    He would shout, 'geronimooooo'

Why do banks charge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they know there is not enough?

So that they can make money, they are a business. This fee is usually paid for at a later date.

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME c**p, why didn't he just buy dinner?

Maybe he didn't want to. Everyone has free will to an extent.

Why do you have to 'put your two cents in'.. But it's only a 'penny for your thoughts'? Where's that extra penny going to?

It's an expression, you are generally not physically doing it. Because this wouldn't account for the variabe exchange rate either.

Why is there a light in the fridge and not in the freezer?

Some freezer's do have lights, but it is generally unnecessary, considering the cost of technology for lights that can last within sub zero temperatures.
