Why do car dealerships think they can get you to come

into the dealership and/or buy a vehicle from them buy

displaying alot of balloons?

  1. Yes.

    No, we don't think baloons sell cars.  What they do is create energy on the lot.  A parking lot full of cars is just a parking lot full of cars.  The balloons add color, and when the wind is blowing - even just a little - some motion on the lot.  Your eye is attracted to motion, its just a biological fact.  When you see bright colors and motion, you tend to look in that direction.

    So, thats why there are balloons.


  2. I don't work at a dealership, but I just bought a new car.  And no, the balloons did not bring me in.  They just keep the kiddies busy and try to attract people visually.
