Being 3 months pregnant has made me start to think, what am I going to do when the baby is here. I don't want to pay $300 dollars a week for someone El's to raise my baby! Working from home seems to be the best answer I can think of, plus it shouldn't be hard to match 12.00 per hour (what i make know). But with so many on the internet I'm scared they are scams. So my question is...........

What do you do?

Where did you find it?

Any advice?

How much do you make?

Do you love it?

  1. Congrats on your new baby coming.  I went through this a long time ago as well.

My husband and I started our home based business over seven years ago. We both wanted to work out of our home and be together raising our children.  We didn't want to send them off to a daycare center.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down daycare providers.  They work hard.  But I just didn't want the traditional family lifestyle of  one or both parents having to work out of the home and really not be a part of our children's life.  I didn't want that lifestyle.  I wanted to be with my kids. Also, at the time I was put on bed rest in my 4th month of pregancy due to complications and my husband was under going back to back surgeries, so we were forced to find something that we could do at home.  Searching for home based jobs, they don't pay what we were used to making.  Most were bottom of the barrel income earnings, around minimum waged.  Figuring on after taxes, we would make less then miminum wage. With our lifestyle we were accustomed to, we would not survive on that income.   So we went onto looking at home based business opportunities.

The company we chose made the most since to us.  A product that is and always will be in high demand.  There are a lot of products and services out there that are good.  We decided to partner up with this company because it was things that people will always use and pay for anyway, pretty much no matter what. We didn't have to worry if money became tight that they could easily run to the store and purchase on sale or be able to buy it at the dollar store.  So, we got involved in the world's largest direct selling telecommunications service provider that was started back in 1993. It's now a 15 year old, world wide international company. With headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan, Charlotte, Amsterdam, Sydney and Montreal.  They have been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated them the 22nd fastest growing company in revenue in it's first five years.  They market in services people use every day and pay for anyway.Services like Local and Long Distance telephones, Internet, Digital, video phones, Satellite TV, and all the major cellular phone companies like T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Nextell, Altell etc as well.  We save people money on services that they are already using and paying for, and help people on new services that they don't already have.  We upgrade and extend celluar phone contracts and place people on new contracts.   Every single month these people pay their bills, we make a percentage over and over again each month. That's just one way we get paid in this industry.

How many people do you know, or know of around the world that uses one or more of these services or products? . A lot of money involved in this industry.

Our home based business gave us the opportunity to start up a non profit organization called SOFTIN (www.seafaringopportunities.org) based on my son (Kaiden) who is autistic (which explains the pregnancy complications I think)

I'm not going to broadcast the income level we make, but we do better then we did working in the corporate world.  We also have a non profit organization, which should explain a lot there.  We love what we do, the people we work with and what it has done for us.

  3. I just read your question about home business opportunity.  I've been in 3 companies before I found a unique service and opportunity called SendOutCards.  We show others how to become card senders and share how we change lives one card at a time by sending unexpected cards to people to show them we care.  They are real printed greeting cards that you create on your computer and they print and ship from Salt Lake City.  It cost as low as $.62 cents for a high quality greeting card.

There is a business opportunity to show others and make money by doing this.  you don't have to pay a monthly website, FREE DVD's and you can send pictures in your cards in your own handwriting.

Linear income you get paid once for.  You go to work M-F and get paid for 40 hours.

Residual income you get paid over and over for something you do once.  They are legit and you just have to find the one that suits your needs.

I would love to show you more if you wish or you can try it with a complimentary gift account.

  4. There is nothing better than working from your own home and being able to raise your children the way you want. I was able to retire at a very early age due to a business I started from my home. My time is now devoted to helping as many people I can do the same. I am always available to answer your questions and help in anyway I can.
