I work in a daycare, in North Carolina =]

I've worked in 3 different daycares, only getting paid starting last year [[the other 2 were internships]]. Right now I am working on my bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, I have 1 more year to go.

Right now I only make $7.50 an hour, but I'm only considered an Assistant Teacher.

I am a preschool 4's teacher in a child care center. I have my bachelor's in psychology with a minor in early childhood. I am working in my master's in early childhood.  Currently I make around $28,000 a year.  I hold health benefits, dental, and get vacation time, personal and sick days.  I am underpaid, for my degree, but the economy in Michigan is not that great right now. So I am just happy that I have a job.
