Do you work on Labor Day?

Question

I sure did when I was self employed. A chance to dress comfortably, catch up with no interrupting phone calls, I was happy to go to the office for a little while. Now I'm a SAHM and work lives with me.

Not this year.  I am off today but my coworkers are working today.

I live in sweden. I am currently unemployed while going to language school. While in the US, I did work all monday holidays.

I work for a *very* small company (from home, to boot) and yes...I am taking the day off today. No phone calls...loads of laundry...stacks of paperwork to file...there is plenty to do but I can be relaxed about it.

For me, "day off" has never equaled "lay around in a cable tv induced coma."

Oh...it's also my birthday. :D
