Do you work with anyone really annoying?

This lady I work with is SO LOUD!

Her normal talking voice is like someone YELLING ACROSS THE ROOM!

WTF is wrong with her?

Does anyone else work with someone that gets on their nerves?

I work with her twin sister.

Does your version also backstab, browbeat and bully?  Vicious gossiper?  Does she attack those who stand up to her, by accusing them of having all the faults that SHE has?  Does she constantly stir up trouble and misery?  Provokes arguments?  Constantly plays the race card?  Criticizes everyone else's work while she does absolutely nothing?  Will spend 20 minutes nagging someone to do a task rather than just spending 20 seconds to do it herself?  Acts like a know it all?    Even tries to control the microwave in the break room like a tyrant....  And all of this...... while spouting off constantly about how she loves the Lord....

If your lady is like this, then I truly feel sorry for you.  If not, then you should count your blessings.

I work with this guy who constantly talks about himself, makes inappropriate sexual comments and eavesdrops like its his job. It is so obnoxious. But I dont want to be mean to him because I still have to work with him and I need to have a semi-good relationship with him. So Ive just stopped paying attention to him. But with this woman, sounds like thats not an option. Id say your best bet is to politely ask her to speak a little softer, and maybe lie by saying your ears are really sensitive. It could work, though she may be one of those people who get easily offended, but if someone said that to me, I wouldnt take it in a bad way. I guess some people are just loud like that.

i think everyone who works, works with someone that gets on their nerves.  i wonder if the lady you work with has a hearing problem?

OMG! My boss is really loud too. It is really annoying and I feel like asking her to take it down a couple decibels but I don't. I'm not sure you really can tell someone to speak more quietly. At least I can't b/c she's my boss. Ewwww I can't stand it.

Don't stand for it.  Talk to the powers that be and get her transfered to an area where she can be loud or have them make her speak more quietly.
