  2. Well, if the cells absorbed free electrons, then these will be reactive species. These are called free radicals (most simplest is hydrogen). Free radicals are very destructive to the cell and its molecules.

    Static is an electrical phenomenon that there is an excess negative charge on the body (or positive, depends on what happens. For now we are talking about negative). The electrons are not absorbed through the cells, but carried to the area of least negative, of positive regions. This is why a shock is released when you touch a door k**b.
