Do your dreams control your reality....?

When I am asleep, I have this problem the next day when I have to get up, my alarmclock rings, rings and rings, in my dream it is worked out in away, that it might be a truck in reverse going beep, beep. I have 4 Alarmclocks and I have to change the tone, or my dream will intragrate it, just to keep me asleep. It is weird how my mind works, I WANT TO GET UP, but can't, one time my ear right next to it, it ran for hours striaght threw.

I have had my hearing check, perfekt hearing, Dr. envys me for it, when I explained my problem, he said he envys my deep sleep.

The weird thing is, though, I hear other peoples babies cry at night, doorbell and telefone or if my son calls me or coughs, or things out of the ordinary, even smells, but as soon as an alarm no matter what melody goes off, it's like my body is here and the rest isn't, it's driving my neighbors crazy, because (summertime, open windows) I wake up the entire neighborhood. HELP!!!!!

  1. That happens to me!! Especially the truck beeping.  Wow, that kind of freaked me out, but I'm glad I'm not alone!  And if I put the alarm on radio mode, I'll suddenly dream of being in the car singing along, at a concert, or something crazy.  It is frustrating.

Maybe find away to record a baby crying or your son's voice as your alarm? Please let me know if this works for you!  Good Luck!!

  2. dreams don't control your reality directly. freud said dreams are used to fulfill unconscious desires, so maybe you just subconsciously want to explain away the alarms as a truck backing up so you can sleep more.

  3. Oh my goodness I am the same way! I cannot wake up to music because I'll be dancing to it, or some guy will be playing it in my dream. I can't wake up to a talk show, because then I'm sitting around a table discussing the talk show with the guys in the talk show. lol I talk in my sleep.

I wake up my whole neighborhood too. Oh I hope someone has an idea for us :)

  4. I'm so sorry. I wish I had deep sleep like that. Well, My advice to you is  take one day of just SLEEP. Drop your kids off at grandma's or something and you just SLEEP. I do the same thing but I wake up at the slightest thing. I'm kind of like the princess and the pea story in real life form.

Maybe you should invent something that pulls the blankets off of you or pours water on you. I don't know... maybe there is a pill to wake you up. Odd, most people have the problem to go to sleep.

Can't you're son wake you up in the morning? He seems like he would or do you have to wake him up?

  5. Nope.
