  1. Actually, your eyes are the same size as when you were born.

    That's why babies have big heads for the body size.

    At birth , the eyes are already full size.

    They can change shape later though and become more elongated , or less spherical , thats what causes refractive problems.


  2. when theres light they get small and in the dark they get bigger

  3. oh yes..   especially with tissue development.

    also, shamefully eyes can die off..   diseases,  circulatory issues, bad diet...  can lead to damage and the eye can die off, parts of it...

    like the macula...  and you can go blind in spots.

    eyes through genetic research have been known to redevelop with a bit of help through stem cell research and other research involving DNA and cell implantations.

    which i wish we had more off here in the states.

    the eye is an organ and it regenerates.
