Do your friends and family know what you stand for?

If someone was to ask someone you know to describe what you stand for, what would that person say?

Hopefully that I stand for equality, love, truth and justice for all people.  I also stand for the protection of the innocent of all species and the idea that we are here to help one another.

I tell my friends and my mom, but not the rest of my family or my parents' friends. I have a family that is Muslim, and if I tell them, they will think of me as lower then I deserve.

I believe that there is a God but I just don't agree with most of the things they taught me.

I know I should tell them, but it's better for them if they don't know and it's better for me, honestly. I don't care about their opinion, it's just I don't want to start anything that could humilate my parents.
