Do your kids have one of the child-size picnic tables? Do they use it? What do they do with it?

I am thinking of getting one used for $20 but I am not sure if it's worth it. It's not the tiny size, it's a little larger.

We don't really eat outside much, but maybe for ??? coloring or snacks?

  1. my mom bought one for my sisters (3 and 8), and it has been sitting in our garage for years

but they do use it once in a while, to eat lunch or snack

and they do like to pile sand on top and play, or do messy activities like play doh and glitter on it

    i would suggest getting one

  2. We got one hand me down from a neighbor - our son (22 months) loves it and I think he will only use it more as he gets older.  We eat outside a lot, though, so it gives him his own space on our deck. :-)

  3. We got one last year and we use it all the time.  They have snacks and lunch on it.  And if we eat dinner outside, they will sit there.  I love it.  It keeps the messy things of summer outside.  Popsicles, watermelon, cookies, snow cones, whatever is messy, they will eat outside.  $20 is a great price.  Go for it.

  4. picnic tables are great

when we have cook outs their great!

we all at out side when we have cook outs

i love them then they dont get my table dirty

  5. My oldest used his a lot as a child.  He did his building with legos on it, puzzles, reading, eating with buddys, and more.  After he outgrew it, I placed it on the dryer, and stacked laundry on it (I had to use a strong adhesive and replace it every once in a while, and my laundry area was out of sight).  The not really tiny ones that they can sit in from toddler age to age 5 or so are best.   We got the table with the table and chairs, not the picnic, all in one piece style, which I think would be harder for the kids to use longer.
