Do your parents (especially yr mum) ever load you up with goodies when you visit?

Mine do,

I went round yesterday and come away with the best haul yet:

2 x toilet roll

toothpaste

1/2 fruitcake

some bread

and a jar of tikka masala sauce

owe and Mr kiplings lemon slices.

I don't ask for anything she just gives them to me.

  1. You are very lucky, mines in heaven, dont think they have grocery stores there and they have a no visitors policy, residents only are allowed in! :)


  2. As a mum myself, one of the great pleasures we have is feeding up our children - we always think they are not getting enough to eat!  I know it's silly but it is also a way of showing our love.  Take your gifts in the way they are meant - with caring and love.

  3. my mothers a SOB the only thing she ever tried to give me was her dogs left over hair scrunchi or hair clip. i usually looted personally.  

  4. not any more- now the goodies are reserved for my kids...

  5. LOL all the time - when I visit or when they visit - my mother/mother in law always bring some kind of food, goodies, candy, household things, sometimes magazines etc...it's hilarious...

  8. Your lucky, i have not seen my parents for 12 years, i guess they don't care any more. Oh well i will get over it.
