Not at first mainly cuz he got me pregnant but once they saw he was supportive and worked hard and they really got to know him, they were fine. We've been married now for six years and have 3 children and I think my dad actually likes my husband better than me :)

They have a problem with the fact that I am white and he is black.  They think that he is just out to hurt me and c**p.  But I have been seeing him for 8 months and anything that I thought was out of place, I checked out and he has been telling the truth.  They are really getting on my nerves!

Till the day my mom died, she NEVER quit asking if I was happy with my husband or if he was good to me.  I have been married longer than her marriages, longer than any of my brothers even tho' they are all older than me...(23 yrs married at the time she died) but she never quit asking.

Funny thing tho?  MY marriage is TOUGH to be in due to my husbands dominating personality and me being a push over.... so, I guess she "knew" how I live even tho' I did NOT complain or confess.   /c:    MOMS   KNOW.
