okay. i dont understand that ppl r saying that the world is going to end in 2012. its scary for us teens that have to think of it.. ppl also said that it was supposed to end when the new millenium was born. well; i h8 to break it to them but it didnt. and the world will end when the sun burns out. well; at least thats what i believe. when the sun burns out the world will be like a living ice cube. and it will be dark all day. 24/7.. no electricity will work and we wont be able to grow crops. if youu think about it. thats a long time from now. idc what ppl say i think its all bull and they need to cut it out. now. Doo youuu agree?

But I agree, this whole "end of the world" stuff is getting very annoying.  Especially since the people that keep repeating it everywhere don't know that they are wrong.

Doom-sayers will find anything they can to scare the uneducated and the gullible.

The world will end when the sun expands to a red giant, in about 3-4 billion years.  I wouldn't worry about "when the sun burns out the world will be like a living ice cube. and it will be dark all day. 24/7.. no electricity will work and we wont be able to grow crops" - we will have either been destroyed, found other worlds, or found other ways to survive.

ummm...no it's not true. and i GRADUATE in 2012! it's really not true. i saw on the history channel that nostidamious (he's an old smart guy) said that the world will end in 2096 or 2069 errr something like that. God is not gonna make the world end. He's here to protect us. Don't worry! Ignore those people.

Do not worry.  Do not be scared.  I assure you that the world will not end on 2012 December 21 but it will end one day.  Nostradamus’ prediction of when the earth will end is far into the future, past about 3700.  He still has many prophecies that are not fulfilled yet.  Remember that if there is a beginning, there is an end.  

The Mayan’s Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by Jose Arguelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about 2012 December 21 (Wikipedia).  It will be the end of a Mayan calendar cycle to start a new cycle.

In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. Has this occurred already since the time of Jesus? Not yet. That will still come. Those that give predictions of the world’s end, such as 2012 and numerous times during the past, are pseudo-preachers. Have they talked to God directly? If so, give proofs.

But there is something that is certain—and that is our physical death. This is what we should prepare for. It may come when least expected. We do not know the day and the hour. It will come like a thief in the night. So we just have to be prepared all the time. Search for the true God and when we find Him, follow His commandments and remain in Him until our last dying breath.

This is all that we have to do. It is faith in the true God that we can take with us when we depart from this world. If we denied Him, He will deny us also before the Father in Heaven and send us to h**l. This is very scary – to live in h**l forever.  If we knew Him and loved Him and followed His commandments, then He may reward us to live with Him eternally in His kingdom in Heaven. This is the survival kit that we should have.

What is also certain to happen very soon (in about 2012 or earlier) is World War III and this is a nuclear war.  This calamitous war will start from the Philippines, at Spratly Islands in particular.  The Spratly Islands lie on the South China Sea mostly near the coast of the Philippines.  The Holy Spirit told us that the troubles in the Philippines is like the wick of a lamp.  Once the wick is lit, it will be on and aglow.  He told us about this prophecy more than a decade ago.  Please read what is happening in the Philippines now.  Spratly Islands which is being claimed wholly or partly by six countries including China is in the news and considered a tinderbox, a flash point.  It is very rich in oil and gas resources, more than the reserve of Kuwait.  The high price of oil may trigger the grabbing of these islands and start the war.

Completely false, only an ancient prophet through the grace of God can begin to depict a time the World will end.

The latest discovery of a fragment in reference to an ancient Dead Sea Scroll outlined by Zohar was translated:

Zohar 1:119a

..." When sixty years will have passed beyond the bolt of the threshold of the sixth millennium,

God of heaven will turn with remembrance to the daughter of Jacob [the people of Israel].

And from that time [there will pass] another six years.... In the sixty-sixth, King Messiah will reveal himself in the Land

of Galilee, and a star on the east side will swallow seven stars from the north side.

And a flame of dark fire will be suspended in heaven for sixty days, and wars will be stirred up in the world toward the north side, and two kings will fall in those wars.

Zohar was written in Aramaic, a language that was spoken in the Land of Israel during the Roman Period in the first centuries of the Common Era.

a. Six millennium = 6,000 years

b. 1st century writing (Zohar) occurred 2000 yrs ago.

c. around 4,000 years before the World will end.

Consider the end of the World somewhere around the year 6,000 AD.

2012 is not even close...
