when a docter checks you for diabeteas what does he do and if you want to check yourselfcant you just not eat sugar for a day

The Dr. will tell you to fast for 12 hour. and then draw your blood. And if he wants there is also a blood test that show what is going on for the last 3 months. So not eating sugar for a day will not help. As for testing your self there is only one way and that is having a little blood glucose machine but you have to have the strips and the lancets,so if you don't have diabetes you would not have all that. Go see your Dr. and be on the sake side. Its better to know than not. And safer for you and your health

umm you cant really check yourself because what if you like make a mistake and dont see and you really do have diabeteas
