Doctor + Friend. Is this ok?

I socialise with my doctor - professionally. Is this ok? It is charity work that we do, but i don't know how this works?

My parents are really close with my family doctor.. in fact we knew him before he became our family doctor... he is soo professional when we go for check ups.. I mean he doesn't even look like our close friend..



its perfectly fine if you have a friendship with him.. as long as u guys keep it professional during his work..
