Im 13 :).

Me And my father we throwing each other of the jetski.

And i tried toppling it over when i was in the water but i slipped and got my fingers cought under the handle and one of my nails have came off and my other two nails are baddly bruised and pulled away from my skin.

I have a Plaster on the one thats fallen off completly theres only a little bit left of the nail.

Questions :

1. How long will the Nail take to grow back.

2. How long will it take for the bruising to go.

3. Would it be better if i taken the plaster off ?

Go and see a doctor to make sure you don't need any treatment. If you don't, there's a chance your wound will get infected, so it's best to get checked, and given a proper dressing if necessary.

And in future, be more careful!

A nail takes on average 6 months to grow enough to cover the nail bed.

Bruising, it depends on how long it takes for the blood that has leaked out of damaged vessels to be absorbed.  It will change colour beautifully in the process.

Can't you soak the plaster off and put clean ones on, it's better to protect your damaged fingers/nails.  If you accidentally catch them on something it could be painful.

The damaged nails might come off anyhow, why not get your doctor or the practise nurse to have a look and reassure you?
