Doctor Patient Confidentiality?

Hi i went to the doctors and asked for Adderrall because i wanted to concentrate and i had a hard time. I go home and the doctor is telling my mom that she gave me adderrall...is this legal? i'm 17.

if you're a minor, they are obligated to tell your legal guardian

some places have laws that allow you to get birth control or other such things without
