Doctor Robert likely to prevail in Ladbrokes Blue Riband - 1st Semi-final
Doctor Robert is likely to win the Ladbrokes Blue Riband - 1st Semi-final at Hall Green in England on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. The winning greyhound will be awarded a cash prize of £150.
The 480 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 12:18 GMT and a total of six quality runners will be seen in action. Their names are as follows: Doctor Robert, Jaytee Tiger, Sharp Bullet, Monaghan Jack, Bandicoot Fionn and Bangcrashwallop.
It seems that Doctor Robert is in very good shape at the moment, thus the punters have a chance to win some easy money over his victory today. The bookies have also shown full confidence in his abilities and it will be hard for others to stop him.
The D. Henry’s trained hound has been performing well in recent times, thus he will be in full flow today. He finished runner up in his previous race at Hall Green by just a short head distance. He could have won the event, but luck did not favour him in
the end.
Apart from the race, Doctor Robert has also done a solo run at Hall Green and managed to set and impressive time. It will be important for him to repeat such a show to win the race today.
The seasoned dog, rated favourite for today’s race, is the son of Droopys Kewell out of Yellow Submarine and was born in July 2008.
Jaytee Tiger, trained by P. Young, is also a decent competitor and will give a tough time to his rivals. He took part in a T2 event at Hall Green in March before going into a Grade OR race at the same venue.
The blue dog was able to make a strong impression in the former event, but did not have good luck in the race. He still performed well and finished third overall. The bettors will most definitely risk some money in his favour, but he will need to be at his
best in order to end up on top of the table.
Jaytee Tiger is the son of Go Wild Teddy out of Three Star Gem and was born in August 2008.
Sharp Bullet and Monaghan Jack are the other two runners, who will be fighting for victory at Hall Green in today’s race.
