The French international, Eric Abidal, is expected to return to first-team action and play for Barcelona after going through a liver transplant in April.
Abidal is back to the training ground and is now doing some fitness practices in a mountain camp as he is expected to return to action after his liver transplant operation in April.
The Barcelona left-back is aiming to rejoin his teammates and has admitted that he used to think a lot about his return.
"I have been thinking about returning again for a long time. Today is the first day. I am tired but happy," Abidal told Barca TV.

Unfortunately, he had to go through another operation just after over one year and that prompted speculations about his recovery and chances of continuing his career.
He was asked first about his recovery and whether it is feasible for him to return in December.
"I am going little by little, adjusting my technique a bit, even if I did not have much before," Abidal joked.
He also talked about his desire and commitment for football and his club, Barcelona, and that all he wants right now is to play again while at the same time he wants to take things slowly.
"I want to rejoin the group soon but without rushing things," he admitted.
Meanwhile, the president of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS), Juan http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Garcia-Valdecasas, admitted that he cannot predict the future but believes that the French man’s career and chances of coming back to play are not endangered.
"There is no objective reason for him not to return. If he says he will be back in December, the road is clear.”
"The way things are going now, he is going to have few medical problems. We can't predict the future but it is going very well," he added.
