I was just wondering because I've just started Medical School, and I can't even find time for myself.. how do you MD's do it?

It's funny because every time I ever ask a question in the Medical category (no matter morning or night) I always get an answer (much appreciated, guys!) from the same top contributors..

Thanks.

  1. Once you finish your training, you actually have more time on your hands.  For example, I check Yahoo Answers during downtime between scheduled patients.

  2. I tend to hang out here after work.  Computer sits near the kitchen, so I can sit down and unwind a bit after work.

I wouldn't have had time for this in med school (if we'd had Internet then).  I barely had time for ANYTHING in med school.

Things will get better, time wise.  (First it will get a whole lot worse, then it will get better.)  Hang in there.

I also skip most of the "do my homework" and "help me pass a drug test" questions.  :)
