Doctors...need help plz

Question

I have 3 lumps under my left armpit. None of them hurt. I had them for maybe 3 days now. One of the lumps is extra small. The one directly under my armpit is small and so is the last one. They are oval shaped and can be moved around. I have not been sick or anything. They look like they are goin down. So can someone tell me what this is???

another thing, I also had a very large boil under my arm pit when the lumps came around.....

The boil caused your lymph nodes to enlarge.They fight infections and get bigger.So,once the boil is gone ,so will the lymph nodes.Put some anti-bacterial cream on the boil 3x a day ,very thin till it is gone:neosporine is very good for that.

There are lymph nodes in your armpit that get enlarge when you have an infection (similar to lymph nodes in your neck when you have a sore throat).

You clearly had a skin infection there (the boil).  If they eventually shrink down it's probably due to that.  If it's still there after a few weeks then you may need to see a doc.

The "lumps" are undoubtedly lymph nodes, a component of lymph glands.  They enlarge when fighting infection (as in boil). They are part of the body's natural way to combat infection.

However, please see a physician.  There are so many infections today that are unable to be controlled by body's natural process.
