Question:

Doctors office question?

What would go well with a neurologist office? (cardiologist, bone specialist, what?)

I'm looking for the best combination of two doctors, with one being a neurologist.

  1. Neurology is a specialty. If anything, you might find a GP (general practitioner) or an internist with a sub-specialty in neurology.

  2. I would have to say a psychiatrist is a good option since one may refer patients to the other.

  3. Perhaps a neurosurgeon, to take care of any surgically correctable neurologic problems.

  4. An internist or a family physician would be good potential "feeders".

Previously mentioned neurosurgeons or psychiatrists are good matches. But how about a physiatrist, a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation? It's also a complementary mix.
