Document stuck on "deleting" in printers queue HP Deskjet 4100?

Question

Printing a 6 page document, after the first page printed out the power button on the printer started to flash. So I turned the printer off and turned it back on.

I tried to reprint the document. Then checking printer queue I see the first document at the top and selected delete. The document is just staying there and not going away, even though it says "deleting"

The version I do want printing isn't printing either because it's below the the first version.

What do I do?

Start

Settings

Printers and faxes

Left click the printer icon. Here is where the prints are in queue

Most of the times you can't clear them, so

Start

Settings

Control Panel

Administrative tools

Click Service

Scroll to print spool, highlight and click stop

Now click restart

You may have to repeat this procedure
