Documents needed to travel from NY to Texas?

im going to a soccer game next week which is in Texas.... im going with my bf, his bro, and his mom. Im a senior in H.S and 18 years old. I have no license or state I.D since im not a citizen. i was going to bring my passport, but the first page of the passport has my visa stamped on it which expired a few months ago...would this be a problem "if" they were to not only look at my pic, but if they also happen to see the visa. Also, i was wondering if i could just use my highschool i.d? it says over 18 u need a sate documneted id...but i was thinking to use the hs id since it doesnt say my age, but still has my name, pic, grade, and school name....any advice...PLEASE.

You should have no problems if your traveling by car.  Otherwise, bring any form of id that you have whether is your passport of H.S. id, you need something that will verify who you are in case something happens to you.
