  1. Wheels, tires, rear wheel spacers, possibly extended lugs.

  2. I happen to have done the maintenance on a 1998 Dodge BE2500 that is currently down due to a fuel system issue.  I presume that you have a single rear wheel BR- or BE3500 from how you phrased this Question;  the DRW setup uses a wider track Spicer 80 out back than the SRW to accommodate dually wheels, as the wheels have almost a foot of backspacing to allow clearance for adjacent tires at each drive spindle.

The front Spicer HP60 in the 4x4 version has longer studs and a spacer at each spindle to accommodate the same wheels as the rear axle; I would they had actually gone to the expense of a 75"-track front axle instead, so that those troublesome balljoints would be out of the rocks and in-line with wheel loading (my particular charge had bad 'joints, and, being a 2500, it was SRW).

Reputable repair shops should be able to fit your '3500 with the correct axles; the salvage yards probably also have Spicer 80's and HP60's  from across the 1994-2002 production span of the Dodge BR3500 and BE3500.  Choose whatever sourcing option best fits your shop capabilities; repair shops will also hook up the ABS rigging and switch over and bleed the brake hydraulics to the upgrade axle as part of the service.

  3. it would be a lot easier and cheaper to change the rear differential in it than to go to all the trouble of changing the axes out on it,we did a few of those before and finding a different differential is a lot better and cheaper than doing all that work, and faster, good luck.

  4. spacers, longer lug bolts.
