Dodge Ram or Dodge Dakota?

Question

which gets better mileage on a tank?

a 2005 Dodge ram 2500 2WD

or a 2005 -06 Dodge Dakota 2WD

both being quad cabs

the dakota will beat it by a few miles to the gallon,even though its 4 wheel drive it will still get better mileage then the 2500 will,but i have seen some of the 2500 ,s get pretty good mileage,it all depends on the driver and how well the truck has been mainatained,a bad running dakota will get worse mileage if not properly tuned,good luck.

With a used vehicle, that depends so much on how well it's been cared for by the previous owner(s).

Dodge Dakota it is a great truck and is really reliable when traveling

Dakota gets better mileage, both are the best trucks on the market.

The Dakota is going to get slightly better mileage, it is a smaller truck.  I looked at both and because I have 3 kids, the Ram was the way to go for leg room.  I could not be happier with my decision.
