Dodge intrepid sedan 4d es?

I am trying to find out what the es stands for behind the 4d and what is the difference between the intrepid sedan 4d es and just the intrepid sedan 4d. Hope someone can help and thanks.

  1. 4d = four door

    ES would be the trim package level that is in the car.  The base model would not have ES at the end, and therefore possibly (for example) not have power windows and leather seats, where as all es models would have power windows and leather seats.


  2. base model is the SE, middle trim package is ES, and the sports package is RT.  the SE has a 2.7L engine, ES has either 3.2 or 3.5, and RT has the 3.5  what does this mean to you?  the ES is far better than the SE by performance and luxury standards, the RT is a little better, but also pricier.

  3. its just a trim package label ,all car makers use this now they also make an ls and an se model all have different trim packages with different factory options on them,that's the only difference in them,good luck.
