Dodger fans, what are your thoughts and feelings on the new-look Dodgers? Optimistic?

Had to indulge on my fellow fans since I moved to Vegas from Los Angeles. Lost touch with the L.A. crowd so wanted to know what you all thinks

Been a Dodger fan all my life and I have to admit, I haven't seen this kind of excitement since . . . Fernandomania!

I'm so optimistic, people think I'm already crazy for thinking they have a chance for the World Series. I know the Cubs have the best record in the National League but in the National League, the teams that usually make it to the World Series are wild card teams or ones that no one expect. Colorado Rockies? Houston Astros? The Cardinals back when everyone chose the Mets? The Florida Marlins when everyone thought it was the Cubs? The overlooked D-Backs in 2001?

My World Series team pick: Los Angeles Angeles (best record) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (the NL underdog), because of their overall pitching depth in both starting and bullpen, their batting order, their coach, but the Angels will have a better edge with their defense.

Yeah, I'm thinking Blue ;) Go Dodgers

They are 2nd in a p**s-poor division.  As long as they win 85 or so games, they will probably win that "division".

I think the dodgers are doing great! they are in 2nd place in the NL West. They can easily pick it up with Manny Ramirez, Clayton Kershaw, and Casey Blake on their team! but Rafael Furcal has back surgery, so he will probably be out for the season. LETS GO DODGERS!

I'll tell you what.  As a die hard Dodgers fan, these new Dodgers, with Manny and Casey Blake, and a resurgent Jeff Kent, the Dodgers have just been winning ball games while the D-Backs play .500 ball.

Right now they are leading the sorry sucking Giants and the D-Backs are losing again!!!

I can just SMELL first place right now!

i must say i was a little worried about manny being more of a distraction but hes actually had the opposite effect on the team so far. even the other players are saying he lifted all the pressure off them and are beginning to enjoy the game again. so yeah im feeling very optimistic right now
