  1. They don't have DVD playback because the Wii's discs spin in the opposite direction of regular cd's and dvd's.


  2. No, but counting my computers and ps2, I have 6 other dvd players so it doesn't really matter to me. Btw if you really want it to play dvd's, you can hack it with the steps on the link below.
