Doeas Canada have a free health services?

Here in Britain we have the "National Health service" (N.H.S.) which is paid for through our National Insurance contributions.

  1. What do you consider free and what is covered? Canada does with certain limitations and trust me taxes paid by every working citizen pays for this privilege.


  2. No it is paid for by tax payers. I have yet to see any free health care that someone wasn't paying for.

  3. "Contributions"?  Is that the latest word to avoid saying "higher taxes"?

    Nothing in this life is free except a mother's love.  If you are getting health care from a government program it is paid for by taxpayers ("contributors").

  4. Yes,we do not pay to get medical treatment,But it is not free since we pay for it out of are taxes.
