Does 12 weeks in PLC make you a Marine?

The platoon leader class 12 training if you want to be a Marine Corps officer. or do you still have to go through TBS to actually be a full fledged Marine?

PLC will get you commissioned as a marine officer.

But, you will have no skills to use in the marine corps.

The basic course and the follow on training, will make you a useful marine officer.

Think of it this way, you graduate marine boot, you are a marine.

But you still have no skills, so you no good to the marine corps.

Thats why they send you to BCT and AIT.
