Does 20,000rpm use up more petrol in gear 3 than gear 2?

  1. you would not travel as far per RPM in 2nd gear so it would be less ecconomical.  


  2. use more per mile in gear 2 as your revs don't take you as far.

  3. will use same petrol in each gear at any given revs.

  4. You would use up more fuel in second gear but 20,000 rpm's...

  5. "20,000" rpm in any gear would use the same amount of petrol, not very much though, because the engine would have exploded or seized within the first few minutes.
