Does 2G phone work in Kerala, India?

I am going to Kerala in India next week. I have a Motorola Kazr K1, it is 2G, dual band. Does it work there?

You would have to check with the bands they support but I don't recall the KRZR K1 being dualband maybe quad band but it should be able to work perfectly depending on the bands they use in Kerala.
