I am a longtime Coke (soda) addict. been drinkin it since i was born. I am finally quitting at 17 now and trying to avoid drinks with phosphoric acid to avoid any kidney damage. The bottle for A&W rootbetter doesnt say it contains phosphoric acid OR citric acid. I am just trying to make sure if it really doesnt contain phosphoric acid so my efforts wont be in vain. (citric is fine by me)

  2. Ingredients:  carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, caramel color, sodium benzoate (preservative), natural and artificial flavors.  12 oz. bottle, 170 calories, 55 mg sodium, 44 g total carbohydrates, 44 g from sugars.  Caffeine free.

  3. By law, if it's in there, it MUST be on the label.

    So you should be fine.
