Does AP psychology count as a science course?

I want to get a recommendation from my psych teacher, but I'm already getting one from my spanish teacher...& my counselor advised me to get an english/language & a science/math recommendation

At my high school AP pyschology is an elective, but you may posibly get credit for it as a science course

I would think that Psychology is a social science and therefore would be under the science category. What is it considered at your school?

In high school psychology is just an elective that is in no particular catergory. However, in college it is under social science. So if you can't get one for an actual science class such as biology or whatever science you are currently taking or have taken then pschology could go under science. I mean it is an aspect of science.
