Does ASEAN needs to adapt the EU system? Why? why not?

Not in it's entirety. Especially when it comes to mobility issues.

Mobility means citizens from ASEAN countries don't need work clearances or visas to travel and work in ASEAN countries, say if everyone from Laos, Cambodia or Vietnam travelled to Singapore for living and work since it is the most prosperous country in ASEAN, do you think they could handle the flow?

The EU system is a good model for the ASEAN to improve the economy in the region through trade agreements and cooperation on financial matters just like the adoption of one ASEAN currency.
