Does Albertsons carry faux meat?

Im about to go grocery shopping and I don't want to go way cross town to Whole Foods. Albertsons is down the street but Ive never checked for faux meats there. Im making a party dip.

  1. I know I've gotten faux meat in the freezer section, from Boca or Morning Star. Usually they carry ground faux meat crumbles, veggie patties, sausage, etc.

    Also try looking where they sell the tofu/vegan cheese/vegetarian hotdogs, etc. Ralph's has a good selection there, but I've never really looked at Albertson's.


  2. Yeah they should, maybe not all brands, but brands like Boca and Morningstar.

  3. Yes, they have faux meats. chicken, beef, hot dog, turkey, anything really. they have it there. look in the organic section or where they carry soy milk. But they have all forms of vegetarian foods and such. "Smart" brands are very good faux meats.

  4. are you talking about Tofu ? like tofurkey or tofubeef.

    I have never heard of it. Tell them you were out and to pretend there is meat in it~
