Does Amazon.com let you use your PayPal??

I want to make sure I can buy this thing that I want!!

PayPal, has advertised a new feature, allowing you to use their service, with retailers who don't subscribe to PayPal.  I haven't tried it yet, and don't know how it works.

It depends. Nowadays more often than not you're not buying directly from Amazon. They've kind of set themselves up like eBay where sellers can have an online store. So sometimes you're purchasing from a seller THROUGH Amazon.

If the seller takes PayPal you'll see it as a choice at checkout.

Another option is to sign up for a Google Checkout. Google checkout is actually a lot easier to use and the sale processes quicker. It's totally easy to set up too.

I've noticed that a lot of online retailers are now offering both Google and Paypal. I have both, but actually prefer the Google one.

Yes and I've done it for what it's worth to you, but you should have 2 items in place back on the PayPal account.  1.  Enough money in the account to cover the item you want including shipping etc. and 2. The PayPal Debit/ATM card tied to your account.  You use that card as a credit card and Amazon and/or any other merchant that accepts a Master Card will accept it.  Just remember it is a Debit card and paid IN FULL right than.  PayPal will sweeten the deal some by giving you a small amount of Cash Back making it even better.  Also in the works PayPal is braching out because of the large problems Ebay has seen fit to impose lately and is already accepted as an opionion for payment at Overstock.com.  I suspect Amazon.com will be added soon if it hasn't been already.   So stay tuned there's alot going on right now and it's going to take a couple of months to determine the outcome.
