  1. why else do you think they do it?

    its about loop holes.

they do pay taxes though but I don't think the wages are taxed..not sure don't quote me on it.

  2. Outsourcing  results in lower costs of production and greater sales revenues.  Products will not be manufactured in a cost prohibitive environment, i.e., U.S. motor cars and textiles.   The imports from Japan started after WWII.   A landmark year was 1970 when the first Honda autos were shipped to the U.S.  Before Honda, there was the VW invasion.  An imported product is in the nature of an outscource.  We export a great amount of advanced computer electronic equipment.  Trade is a two way street.  The U.S. is now in the Information Age.  To expect a return to an industrial economy would be a pointless dream.  Individual's must attend college for educational reasons in the new age of Information.  There is not going to be another generaration of Detroit auto workers. The textile industry is dying and cannot be rescued.   Tax Revenue?   It it important to any productive end?  Government employees are assured employment and that seems to be the purpose of government.  Employment with no special objective for the employee.  Taxes collected are higher secondary to real production from outsourcing vs. imaginary production for goods and services that have been priced out of the market.
