Does Andy Irons have ancestors that lived in Scotland?

Both Wikipedia and Andy Irons' official website give very little biographical information about him, namely:  He was born July 24, 1978, grew up on the North Shore in Kauai, Hawaii, and has a brother, who is also a professional surfer, named Bruce.  

Since no Internet source lists his parents, perhaps you could contact his personal web site (once it is fully online) and ask him about his ancestry?
