Does Andy Roddick have any chance of winning the U.S. Open this year?

I know that Wimbledon is still happening, but I feel that we will see Federer v. Nadal in those finals. So, I'm just wondering if anyone thinks that Roddick has a chance with the last Grand Slam.

  1. nope...federer will play njokovic....nadal have NOT chance too

  2. OMG! NO! Are u crazy!? Roddick's entire game sucks, besides the serve which is mediocre... Why do people think this guy can win? He will never win another slam; not a hater just the plain truth. He relies way too much on his serve which is quite pathethic...

  3. no

  4. I think he has a chance at the U.S. Open. Most of the good players have confirmed that they are going to Beijing and this could affect their USO preparation. Andy, on the other hand, says he is not going to Beijing so he must be focusing on the USO.

A chance, why not? He won it once, but then, that was long ago. But a chance nevertheless.

  5. I think his chances of a US Open win is higher then doing it at this years Wimbledon. He needs to mix up his game a bit, and stop being stubborn and rely on just power. However on the quicker, harder courts in Flushing, if his serve is consistent and can end points quickly, rather than be content with rallies, he could go deep and even win it.

  6. He doesn't have an all round game to win, never will. Edit.... I rest my case.

  7. For me, no chance whatsoever. He's starting to get angry on court again. That's a no no for him. He's gone now. But if he's going to do it, he's got to make it past Nadal, Federer, and most importantly.... Djokovic!!!!

  8. He better win Wimbledon, or he won't be allowed back in the USA.  I'm calling Immigration right now to make sure they stop him at the border if he loses.
