I have a toy french poodle thoroughly spoilt, bless her, Because she thinks that she is the mistress of the house she will not allow me to leave the kitchin where she likes to stay, and starts to bark her little head off. Because she is blind, she gets a heck of a lot of her own way, but recently her barking became too much to take any more. I bought one of the ultra sonic bark deterrents, called "Bark Control" and it works very well. She simly does not like it and cowers away quietly...I use it only in extreme times.
