  1. UPDATED(twice):

    When you go outside of your home, you are using someone else's Internet connection. If you go to a work environment, that Internet connection is ultimately controlled by their firewall. Don't expect everything to run the same way as it does at home on YOUR internet connection, even if you are using your  computer.

    You probably shouldn't have made a new account. When you use work/office computers, often firewalls can block you from accessing accounts and domains. Also, Y/A has been updating lately, so there was a warning on the front page that there may be some odd behavior. Y!360 also has glitches.

    But yes, on some computers, it's harder to access Yahoo services than others. It depends on the computer settings mostly.

    Ideally, you should be able to go to any computer, go to the Yahoo service main page of your choice, log in with your Yahoo ID and password and access the service with no problem. As long as the computer has an Internet browser and Internet service, then that should be the case.
